Part-Time Administrative Assistant
 
The Intergovernmental Personnel Benefits Cooperative (IPBC) is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant.Duties include:
  • Secretariat to IPBC Committees
  • Planning and scheduling meetings
  • Prepare, post, and distribute meeting packets
  • Basic website maintenance
  • Assist with member communication efforts
  • Maintain member information
  • Assist with monthly billing
  • Other duties as assigned
10-15 hours per week. Flexible hours and primarily remote based work. However, will need to attend committee meetings during normal business hours in the Chicago area. Requirements include:
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A team player who is proactive and flexible
  • Ability to work independently and under the pressure of deadlines
  • Experience in updating content on a website preferred
  • Knowledge of local government operations preferred
